Tour guide Carole Deschuymere

Carole Deschuymere (1976) is a nature photographer with a passion for the African continent. After her many travels she has perfected her photography and developed her very own style. During the trip she will be more than happy to help you with your composition, lighting and technology, but also to develop your photos in Lightroom and Photoshop. She also teaches you how to use the beautiful light in your photography.

Nature as leitmotif

Unlike many others Carole discovered her passion later in life, during a trip through the Okavango Delta in Botswana. She’d taken a lot of pictures, but when she got home she discovered that most of them actually were no good. She enrolled for evening classes in photography and had some private tuition with famous nature photographers. This was how she prepared for her next trip. And as it turned out, the pictures were a lot better. Driven to always raise the bar higher, she also got to know the African bush better. She prefers sleeping in her tent among lions and elephants,  in the wild. Two years later she won the Africa Geographic contest, a great confirmation of the fact that indeed she was on the right path.

Destinations

After many travels in Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya and Tanzania, Carole is the right person for you to experience the trip of a lifetime. Her knowledge of the African bush will help you to take the most beautiful pictures.
